Ingredients:
Puff Pastry Sheets -- 1 sheet
Onion -- 1/4 cup finely chopped
Red Capsicum -- 1/2 cup finely chopped
Green Capsicum -- 1/2 cup finely chopped
Yellow capsicum -- 1/2 cup finely chopped
Carrot -- 1/4 cup finely chopped / grated
Fresh Green Peas -- 1/4 cup
Mashed Potato Flakes -- 3tbsp
Salt to taste
Garam Masala -- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder -- 1/2 tsp (Or according to taste)
Cilantro -- 2tbsp finely chopped
Oil -- 2 tsp + For Brushing
Method:
For the Masala :
- Heat a pan with oil.
- Add the onions and fry till soft.
- Now add red capsicum, green capsicum, yellow capsicum, carrot and green peas and fry for a minute.
- Cover and cook till soft.
- Finally add salt, red chilli powder, garam masala , mashed potato flakes and stir well.
- Add the chopped cilantro and allow to cool.
Arranging the sheet :
- Thaw the pastry sheet at room temperature for 40 minutes or until it's easy to handle.
- Heat the oven to 400°F.
- Lightly grease 2 baking sheets or line with parchment paper.
- Unfold the pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Brush the pastry sheet with oil. Top with the masala mixture.
- Starting at the short side closest to you, roll up like a jelly roll.
- Cut into 20 (1/2-inch) slices.
- Place the slices cut-side down on the baking sheets.
- Brush with oil.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the swirls are golden.
- Serve warm ...
